Welcome to the Suffolk County Police Conference Website
The Suffolk County Police Conference is an organization of Professional Law Enforcement Officers from the State, County, Town, and Village Police Departments operating within the County of Suffolk, New York. The Conference was organized in 1947 and incorporated in 1950. Our Motto is “Proud of our Police.”
Our objectives include:
-
Creating a harmonious feeling between all our members and other bona fide law enforcement organizations throughout the State and Nation.
-
To assist the youth of Suffolk County by supporting youth programs.
-
To help our fellow Law Enforcement Officers as needed.
The Suffolk County Police Conference is a proud sponsor and supporter of the Association for the Help of Retarded Children, the Special Olympics, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Erika Josephson Foundation, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and the American Cancer Society.
The Political Action Committee's function is to express our concerns to politicians at all government levels in order to encourage legislation for the betterment of law enforcement. Additionally, the committee seeks to oppose any legislation introduced that would be detrimental to law enforcement personnel.
The Suffolk County Police Conference is proud to be affiliated with the National Association of Police organizations, the New York State Association of PBA’s, the Police Conference of New York, and the National Law Enforcement Officer Memorial Fund.
